KADLEBELE EREKAI SOPPU KOOTU

Chana Dal 1 cup
Spinach(chopped) 250 gm
Erekai/ridge gourd/Beerkaya/Peerkanga(Chopped) 2 Cups
Chopped Tomato 1
Turmeric Powder 1/4 tspn
Red chilli power 1 tbspn
Coriander powder 1 tbspn
1/2 Lime juice
Mustard 1 tsp
clove 2
cinnamon stick 1 inch
Oil 2 tbspn
Salt

1.Cook chana dal with cloves, cinnamon with 3 cups water in pressue cooker.
2.Heat vessel with oil, add mustard, tomatoes, spinach and ridge gourd stir well.
3.Add chilli, coriander, turmeric powder and salt, cook for 5 minutes.
4.Add cooked dal in spnach mixture and cook for 5-8 minutes.
5.Once cooked turn off. Add lime juice.

Dal n veg n greens combination is Nutritious and healthy. Taste is fantastic. Its certainly a good match with chappathi or rice.
