SWEET DELIGHTS FOR JOY



In India its a trend to prepare sweets very often. For every ocassion, Sweets are symbolic of joy and to celebrate the joy we make sweets and enjoy the joy by eating sweets and sharing sweets with family and friends .

There are variety of home made sweets right from dry, wet, solid and liquid form of sweet. Sweets come in various colours, shapes, designs, textures, fragrances and presenatations. You have millions of sweet recipes based on combinations of Rice, Dal, jaggery, Semolina, sugar, ghee, various grain flours, miik based products, Dry fruits and nuts, sweet potatoes, pumpkin, pineapple, Ash gourd, saffron, some spices coconut and many more. To name a few I have mentioned commonly used items.

Trust me there are special sweets particularly made for certain occasions. Example weddings, festivals, house warming, naming ceremony, ear peircing ceremony.
There is a ceremony Shraadha done for people who are no more. In this ceremony the dishes and sweets are different but the taste is unique from the normal.

Well, sweets are dominated in the begining as well as at the end of the meal. Sweets are mouth watering stuff. Anything you eat must be in limit or you tend to become DIABETIC or OBESE. So I request my friendly readers to enjoy the sweets but with limit. With no limitations in anything can damage you to a large extent. I would like to remind you again. Prevention is better than cure, and always remember before you eat anything : HEALTH IS WEALTH.

We take lot of time in prepartion. This sweet is very easy and quick in preparation. This recipe is for people with time management.

MICROWAVE MILK POWDER BURFI

Nestle Milk Powder 2 and 1/2 cups
Thickened Cream 150ml
Castor Sugar ¾ cup

1. Take a mixing bowl and mix cream with milkpowder and sugar.
Mix well so that no lump is formed.
2. Take a square shaped or round shaped microwave safe bowl-grease it with butter.
3. Pour the mixture in the bowl and keep in microwave for 2 min,
later 2 min,then 1 minute.
3. Different microwave has different in built system and that is why the pauses.
4. Once you find that it is turned slightly brown, remove from microwave oven.
5. Take plate and put upside down the microwaved bowl on the plate.
Grease the knife and cut into pieces.

Milk powder burfi aroma is so tempting that you cannot resist. You grab a spoon and immideately you taste a bite. I bet you, you wont stop with one bite, you want to eat more. Dont be greedy to eat everything. Liberaly share with others.
